Two year old

Opps, I think I skipped my two year old's cake.We took her to the zoo for her birthday so I did an animal themed cake. I made the animals with Wilton candy melts and molds. I think the kids enjoyed the candy more than the cake.

Blue and Gold

The Blue and Gold theme this year was a 100th birthday party. It was very fun to make a cake for the cub scouts. Bottom layer was chocolate with raspberry filling, the top layer was yellow cake with lemon filling.

My first, and most likely my last, Wedding Cake

This is the wedding cake I made for my sister. It was crazy big and took a long, long, long time to make, about 3 days. Everything but the cake topper was edible. I used butter cream frosting, the tiers were 14 inches, 12 inches and 10 inches. We changed the original design a bit, but it still turned out lovely so who can complain, epically with a free cake.

Friend Cake

I had a great time making this cake for a friend's birthday.
And it almost made it to the party in one piece. It fell slipped to the floor of my car when I braked in front of the house where the party was being held. Oh well. It was fun to make.

Strawberry Lemonade Cake

It's not as pretty as some, but I think it tasted great.

I made a lemon cake and added strawberry pie filling for the filling and the top. It was decorated with whipped topping. I was going to use strawberry whipped topping, but since my husband didn't want a pink cake, I went with the original.

First "professional" cake

A friend of a friend needed a cake for her little boy's birthday last week. I was able to make this cute cake.

It was fun to make a boys cake for a change. I used the Wilton charater pan and put in on a 1/4 sheet cake. Super easy.

Pretty Flower Cake

It's been a long while since my last post. I made my sister in law her birthday cake this year. I did a peach cake, it was very yummy.I decorated it with little peach flowers. I haven't decorated a cake for awhile, it was fun to get my things out and play for awhile.
