We took her to the zoo for her birthday so I did an animal themed cake. I made the animals with Wilton candy melts and molds. I think the kids enjoyed the candy more than the cake.
Birthday cakes, Holiday cakes, kids cakes, fun cakes, all kinds of cakes.
Everything but the cake topper was edible. I used butter cream frosting, the tiers were 14 inches, 12 inches and 10 inches. We changed the original design a bit, but it still turned out lovely so who can complain, epically with a free cake.
I must say it won't have turned out half as cute if I didn't have the little figurines made by barbie just in time for her birthday. I found them at Wal-Mart and they worked out perfectly.
You just can't beat that smile can you? This cutie was having a clown party and his favorite colors are orange and blue, so here you go. One of the first things I learned in my cake decorating class I took years ago was how to make clowns. I haven't done it since. It came right back to me though and it was worth the smile I got from my cute nephew when I was done.
